I'm in the market for a 20mm Hummel for my WW2 Germans.
I'd prefer metal or resin but there doesn't appear to be anything on the market. Any ideas?

What scale, mate? "20mm" can be from 1/90 to 1/72. Revell and Dragon do 1/72 kits, which can be hard to find, while Roco Minitanks do a number of 1/87 variants- pre-assembled and painted and also assembled but unpainted. Again you have to dig around to find them. Sometimes you'll find Minitanks under "Herpa" as well.
PS I just hada bit of a look around and found this. Don't know how reliable they are, though.

1/72. I have a Dragon diecast but need another Hummel to create a SP artillery unit. I think a resin or a printed version is my best bet.
That link was along the lines of what I've been looking for - the 1/72 and, preferably, in OZ.
There's various on Ebay but along the lines of $100+ (incl P&P). I'd rather pay less.

I found a couple with a quick search- none cheap, especially when you add P&P:

PS Got the decals done. A minor issue on one sheet where the white jet was misaligned, but CHD are sending replacements. The decals are reasonably thin, sharply printed (you can read 0.2mm numbers), adhere well and, importantly, are opaque. I haven't tried a softener yet.

In other words, he's: "Gott (e)in Hummel!"?

My lordship, with due respect your punning varies in its excellence but this one, on the German SPG called "Bumble bee*", is a hum-dinger.

* hummel is german for bumble bee, of course.

Well, that was timely. I was not far off making some Chinese plutocrat an online offer.
The ebay prices weren't the "killer"; it was overseas' P&P so given an Australian source, this has to work for me.
Can we exchange information off line as to price, payment methods (eg PayPal is good for me), addresses etc?
And many thanks for brokering the deal.

Donald I'll ask if I may send his email to you. It will cost you P&P, mate, and a bit of patience. He's off to visit his son's family on Thursday and won't be back until after Easter. Hopefully will have an answer tomorrow.

PS P&P is becoming ridiculous. The USA and Germany lead the pack in slapping on stupid prices- 33Euros P&P for a 36Euros book that weighs 260g?
