Mate, it cost me £90. Regularly sells for £100 plus- I don't think me asking £50 is particularly exorbitant.

Wind you neck in Darryl.
What you paid is not really that important to a future buyer. It demonstrates how much you think it's worth not necessarily what others are prepared to pay.
If it regularly sells why hasn't yours? Could it be it's too rich for people here? In that case I suggest you go somewhere where it is regularly offered at those prices - Amazon or ABEBooks for instance.

I'm selling at well below 50% of the going rate.
Whether we like it or not, books that are rare increase in value. I'm certainly not going to sell a book for less then £50 when it cost me £90.

Sometimes the value of things change over time. I have some old wargaming books which people my age & older like & value, but I think in say 20yrs no one will want them.
