Vauban fort a gift from Allan Tidmarsh

Allan sent me this in the post the other day.
It is made from foam board and cardboard with paper bricks. I did some varnishing and dry brushing of the earth.
Can be used for 20mm or 28mm figures.
A beautiful model very light but study, I am touched by your generosity.
Thank you once again.
Willz.

Very nice! Funnily enough, the widow of one of our late club members donated an Ian Weekly Vauban fort model to the club and I've just brought it home to paint.
It's very similar to yours: 1x ravelin, 2x bastions, 4x wall sections, 1x wall section with gate and 1x wall section with breach, plus two right-angled wall sections that could be used as small ravelins or lunettes. It's the same as this one:

Nice fort.
I wonder what Charlie Dimmock and Tommy Walsh are doing these days?

Very nice, Willz. (Lucky, lucky bast......)
You will include it in one of your show games, of course?

It's the fort that counts.

The defenders should sing a song about it. Because fort tune favours the brave...
