25mm Medieval army
Started painting this army around 1978 whilst stood by HMS Spartan during its build (my 2nd submarine draft).
Figures are Miniature Figures, Hinclhcliffe, Garrison, Irregular, Lamming, early Citadel and several other manufacturers.
To say it has been a slow burn project is a bit of an understatement, though I have painted and sold two large 28mm medieval as well.
It is still on going as I have several hundred in the to be done this century box.
There are two armies one English and one French.
About 200 french cavalry, 400+ French foot MAA, 200+ French infantry.
English 25+ cavalry, 60+ foot MAA and 100+ archers plus 24+ infantry.
The items in the boxes are the rest of the army.
Willz.

Really, really gorgeous - particularly the Lamming figures (I'm a bit of a Lamming fanboy).

Lovely stuff. I once played a massive medieval game with a guy who had built two huge armies from mostly Essex miniatures. It was a lifetimes project.

Magnificent! So wonderfully colourful!
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Maybe drop the English cavalry so the French don't get disheartened before it even starts.

Cheers for all your kind comments and support, I doubt if I will finish this army. I enjoy painting the figures.

Guard them carefully, though - you don't want Peeler sneaking in and swapping all that heraldry for Pride flags.......
