Tiberian fortress artillery battery no 1

Nearly finished this first Tiberian fortress battery ( uniforms are very similar to French colonial artillery ), figures Spencer Smiths.

That's a bit different.

The Gateway is absolutely finished (except for a Highland regiment) otherwise I'd copy this.

Very nice. I've just acquired some Ian Weekley Vauban fortress bits; it's been missing from my C18th armies.
BTW Willz, as a long time Spencer Smith collector, I'm sure like me you have agonised over the gunner figure with what looks like a hanky; is it flash so should I cut it off? A rag? Wonder no more:

It is clearly intended to be a lighted portfire......it has become bent downwards.
Also proof that Ronald almost certainly pirated SAE figures......

Thanks Neil, Yes I have seen these before and one has to wonder.
BTW they look better castings, so I may treat myself to so figures later on.

So where's the rest of it, mate? I take it you're going for the full Vauban, three tables deep and four wide? :evilgrin:
