Old magazines

Post by goat major »

Have made a decision not to keep any magazines except Battlegames and pre-Warhammer White Dwarfs

So , destined for the outbox:

A pile of Slingshot magazines. When I brought them to Gary’s do earlier in the year everyone laughed at me so they’ll probably be going in the bin but if anyone wants them for nowt I’ll bring them to Ayton or Partizan

Probably some old mini wargames, wargames illustrated and WSS as well when I get to that pile.

I’ll not even bother mentioning the post-Warhammer White Dwarfs...

Simon, if you have any of the Duncan McFarlane issues of MW I might be interested, or any of the very early Wargames Illustrated, and I mean issues 1 to 20, as quite a lot of my stuff from back then was used in photos.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

I'd really like to see Tim's stuff from back then.

Sorry Tim I haven’t got any that old. I did discover recently in my old White Dwarfs (which are the ones I’m keeping) the Call of Cthulhu in space scenario that had your figures in it - very nice too!

I think I've still got all the early MW and WI issues. Some great stuff in them. Still re-read them from time to time. I must dig them out and look for Tim's stuff.

Are any of the WSS very early ones? One had an article on making Roman Tents.
