I'm not familiar with WAB, but the tweaks you suggested for the Romans were interesting. Relieving the first line isn't possible in most of the rules I've played. That's a very impressive game, mate, and some very nice figures (the old farts with white hair excluded :evilgrin: ).

To be honest, after listening to one particular Goldsworthy lecture online I'm not convinced that they fought in that manner wither, but I'm considerably outnumbered in m y local and national group of gamers but I'm happy to go along with it. :)

It will be interesting anyway.
