Does anyone know of any scenic Statues for 28mm?
Looking to jazz up my churchyard with something ecclesiastical and gross but anything statue-y will do.

Or just find a suitable figure, any scale suitable for purpose, & paint it a gray colour? EG

Not grey, paint it bronze. All great leaders insist on it.

And a bit of verdigris.

This may not be the most suitable inspiration...

I would use some of Leon's 10mm Napoleonics for the almost inevitable Independence war statues in every pueblo of my Guerra del Pacifico 6mm battles.

Given it’s the churchyard, angels might be useful, especially these if you can find them:

(Ignore the link title - or be attracted by it!)
But given the original scale of your, rather magnificent, church then going 1/72nd in the railway trade might be useful?

It’s quite a weird scaled model, it’s not really proper 1/72.
That’s a great idea though, didn’t even occur to me to check out the railway stuff (despite using it all the time) - what a dumb ass.
ETranger that’s perfect, I’m going to sculpt that one !

Is it not 1/76th Purps?

The ‘antique finish’ pewter miniatures sold in museum/stately home/whatevs souvenir shops are perfect for statuary.
They’re about 30mm, tend to concentrate on senior command figures and personalities, and they’re in upright poses.
Edited to add: “Westair” is the manufacturer.
