Help tracking down a game.

Does anyone here recall seeing/reading about, this particular game? The basic premise was the Gordon Riots of 1780, and the playing surface was a street map of 18th Century London, blown up to 1/300 scale, so that 5/6mm figures could be used. From what I recall, players could be either the Mob, or the Army, with the other side being umpire controlled. The "further reading" section included an on-line article entitled "Little Ambient Meteors" (or something very similar), but I can no longer find this.

Needed for a presentation on the role of the Army in the Gordon Riots. No rush, but any sudden fits of vague recollection greatly appreciated.

The Rules are called 'Little Lambent Meteors' and are available as a digital download from the Digital Library and Scibd(although i'm not sure if that site constitutes piracy or not!!) The author is Jim Wallman and he also produced a scenario for the Gordon Riots. A better route might be through the author himself.
Jims site links to LLM seems to be defunct but he may be contactable through the Chestnut Lodge Wargames group.
The Gordon Riots Scenario is available as a download from Jims page though.

[EDIT: Rather confusingly the Gordon Riots Scenario link from the page above actually links to a full download of the rules!]

I’ve got a copy somewhere, but the link Paul supplied has the rules and counters. Doesn’t seem to have the map but a mail to Jim might solve that, he’s a helpful bloke.

Thanks to both of you - just what I was hoping for! The map is the important element, as I want to blow it up still further to do a "modular" demonstration of "street firing".

Unfortunately, the link requires WinZip, which I often find trouble with.

The link to the scenario (which actually downloads the rules!) didn't cause me any issues at all.

It's ok - having initially received an "out of office" response due to holidays, Jim has subsequently got in touch directly and we shall proceed from there. Once again, thank you for your help, Paul!

If he Emails you the map I'd be interested in it too!

I shall ask if he minds me sharing it - I assume it's not for commercial use.
