It would be great to have a proper catch up at Partizan Dal - hope you get to Vienna though, such a lovely city with so many attractions, the best of which is of course the army meseum :)

I've wanted to see a big UK show since I saw a couple of articles in Military Modelling in the early 70's, VB. I've been to the UK three times since then, and haven't been able to coordinate the visits with a show. Salute may have been on when I was there in '15, but She Is Obeyed had other things planned- all in North Wales. I even missed the 100th anniversary of ANZAC Day, though I did visit the cenotaph in Llandyrnog on the day.

The HGM is special, I agree, and I know where there's a good Thai restaurant, just off Rennweg Strausse (one gets so tired of schnitzel and lager  ). Mainly I want to finish off doing the notes of the Delacre BH, but there's a lot of other things I didn't have much time to see, last time. The inside of the Belvedere (Eugene's little town house), for example.

Catching up with this mob of ruffians would be a bonus.

We are honing and refining our collective and individual ruffi-ness in anticipation!

The ruffi-ness doesn't worry me, However, the pitchforks, torches and wicker cage are a tad unsettling.

Only the first time - once you've had a bit of practice dodging them, they're easy to deal with.

When is Partizan next year then?

If there's a general 'get together' I should make an effort.
