A full report once it’s plugged in will be most appreciated. Tempted by this 3D lark.

Me too. I suspect that I need to wait a while for full colour printed COTOTS.

Also tempted by the 3d thing, (though funding is currently an issue). It does seem to have moved on from the incredibly complex and rickety contraptions of a couple of years ago, to some quite slick devices. But there still seems to be a lot of fiddling and changing settings and levelling and all sorts of stuff required.

I think the first item takes months. As you build a library of things it becomes easier and easier.

I feel like I’m letting the side down somewhat by just buying toy soldiers like some medieval peasant...

Anyway, Soviets in NBC gear from Eureka, for Zona Alfa.

Was easy to assemble and the factory presets on this model seem fairly well dialed in. Here's my first print. Not amazing, but not bad for first run out of the box, IMO. Will adjust and explore the software over the weekend.

Took about 2.5 hours to make this wall, so I expect this thing will be running continuously in the background, for months, to fabricate the entire village. I'm using a Lotmaxx SC-10, which is rather inexpensive as these things go....

That’s impressive for a first go. It looks very clean as well- some early models seemed to be too grainy, maybe only suitable for very rough buildings, but that looks nicely smooth.

Looks great. One of the few times when the striations work in your favor. I’ve looked at them in some depth and spoken to several people who own them. Should I ever decide to get one, I think the resin ones are worth the extra money.

A small top up for Kumbayah, another Saladin that I don't really need and two Saracens that I do. The Saladin needs a new barrel as usual and The Saracens are perfect for Martini Security Solutions. Mr Goldman is an expert at scouring the market for kit that his team are used to. 7/10 for £6.45
