Do I want Battery or mains type?

Any advantage to the loop-wire (“hacksaw” style) or straight-wire (“pen” style) types?

And, eeer... anything else I should know?

Cheers!

It's not going to get you back to work. But, you could sculpt a sex doll which would work ok with a bit of lubricant.

That’s better than the ‘amputation in the field’ suggestion I was expecting.

Nah, do it the easy way, for 24 hours you get to find out why people become drug addicts, then they take the stuff away.

I'm fairly sure they don't work on hoovers.

(I know, I know - you get your cock caught in the bag attachment one time and nobody ever lets you forget it......)

I have the Woodland Scenics one, it’s a hacksaw type. Never given me any problems, straight-forward to use (providing you do it gently, treat it as you would a woma....ah, no, gentler than that).

It’s mains powered, unless you are planning field amputations, why would you want battery?

Even for a field amputation, a small petrol genset would be the shot.

They'd be quite handy for keeping the conversation going with a reluctant informant.

Hot-wire foam cutters.

You wouldn’t naturally assume that foam can cut hot wire 🤔

I suspect a few of your patients would happily give it a go.

i've had 2 cutters
one was the hacksaw type - good but its difficult to cut a good slope if the foam is wide- cutting a wide slop is difficult

The second one I had was the 4" knife type - didn't last too long - it broke but I suspect I wasn't gentle enough as per LT's advice
