Need to see the force options for the Brits from the main rule book if anyone can help?
Thanks in advance!

Tim, the core force consists of:
Platoon HQ:
Lieutenant SMG/Pistol
Sergeant as above
Two man Piat team
Two man 2” mortar team
3 squads:
Squad leader SMG
6 Rifles
3 man Bren team
Thereafter, supports depend on the type/size of scenario you play. Scenarios give you a number of points for support. So another 2” mortar is 2 points, another regular rifle squad is 4 points whilst a Sherman is 6 points. Flamethrowers are 3 points. Well worth the money. Ask Purps.

For your first game, probably best to play with only 1D3 support choices. Remember that the difference in force ratings gets added to the support points for the side with the lower force points

Thanks Jeremy! Very useful, wouldnt have thought Bren teams would have been 3 men? But thats all good. Will let you know how it goes. I didn't bring any tanks back with me except a couple of reece vehicles. Have a 6pdr too if needed.

In theory a bren team consisted of the gunner & his assistant, along with the section's lance corporal to direct them, hence 3 men.

Weren't the PIAT teams taken from the rifle sections?
If you are finding CoC not hard enough, your doctor can discuss a range of solutions.

And I thought you were a hardened Bolt Action guy. Just to mix things up a bit, Neil Goodacre is working on a modern set of rules-WWI to present day, based on the Laserblade model. That will do for me, although I think your own set of rules is hard to beat.

I am but I can't be picky round here. I'm hoping it will be less competition focused at the club with CoC rather than BA.
Yes I saw Neil's post, very interested to see what he comes up with but I don't think it'll need changing much.

Tim, my advice would be to get some of the pint sized campaigns once you’ve got the rules under your belt. You can’t go wrong for a fiver and they provide many hours of enjoyment. One off games are always a bit bland, these really add a fantastic element to the game
