I presume that this is still on in a couple of weeks?
Gary, I'm bringing 4 regiments of foot plus a light foot regiment, a heavy gun, force commander and brigade commander. Can I please borrow: 3 regiments of cavalry, a medium gun, 2 regiments of foot and 2 brigade commanders?
What time is kick off, who's pitching, who is on who's side?
I'm staying at the same B&B as EB, where are we having a curry and some pints that night? I'll drive down Saturday morning

Yes, it's still on, Jeremy. Will reply properly when I get home from Lanzarote, tomorrow. I haven't decided who's on which side yet, because everyone wants to be on the same side as EB!

Thanks Gary. Going to try and paint some extra troops before the day so the above is worst case scenario in case I get side tracked with another period, which is likely!

I know it was discussed on the previous forum, but shouldn't we just make it 12 units? I'd make each unit 1 point, regardless of what it is, and everyone fields 12 points. I think it's pointless discussing the merits of 2 medium guns equal one heavy gun, or two light regiments equal a normal regiment. One unit = one point.
Or, we could use the points system as it stands and create custom forces?
Thoughts?

Is it not that the Gateway troops have rebelled at the calamitous losses at the River Wank and they've requested a choice of further commanders?
I heard the peasants were dining on horse flesh for months afterwards!

they normally indicate their unhappiness with the commander through the medium of mass trampling

Whatever happens in Diss may well widen the gene pool considerably.

There have been many time when I've wondered whose side I was on.
