Thanks... Obediah is Brigade Games "Veteran NCO." They have a whole array of not-Sharpe's characters.

Also, my 6mm efforts have not been completely unproductive whilst I've been plugging away at the SP2 guys. TBM small Russian village.

I agree, lovely, I have some of those too but they're unpainted as yet. It'll be nice to be able to copy such superb work though I won't be buying any of those contrast thingies

Seconded on the Russian buildings, they look brilliant. I might have to try and reproduce that look in my 28mm scratch builds.

Buildings - very nice.

Slightly more interested in the 28mm grenadiers in the background.....

Cheers - TBM stuff is great, a real pleasure to paint. I'm getting quite a bit done this weekend - been something of a painty-modelly marathon...

Some Frogs (WL - not their best sculpts, imo), a Shock marker (thoughts?), and more casualties to make more Shock markers...

Slow progress this week, but finished a couple officers. Plenty of other character type stuff on the go in back.

I like the Foundry Brit (at least I think he's Foundry) in campaign dress on the right, but old school short and needed an 'Mericun penny to level his height out a bit. Not to mention that the Victrix French just tower over everything else in the range that I've seen, not to mention other manufacturers. But I've got too many of them in the inventory and too many painted to make a switch.

Anyone's for a pair of red epaulettes, me.

A few adjustments to make and tidying up to do here, and the highlights appear a bit flattened out by the lighting, but here's me very own first British Hussar, almost done. Hat's off to guys like VB who paint these beyond the skirmish scale. Not sure I could accomplish it.
