Resin

I know this has been covered before, but I’m a lazy fecker and can’t be arsed to look. I need to start assembling and painting a resin armoured car for the BUM’s. I assume it should be cleaned in bleach before hand to decrease it? How long for?
Glue wise, there are lead bits that need to be attached, I’m presuming superglue gel will be sufficient?
Priming, normal Halfords primer?

Soap (washing up liquid) and water should be fine. Just scrub it with a toothbrush or similar. Doesn’t need a long soak but you can do overnight if you want.
Superglue will work. You might want to pin some bits depending on the piece. Same logic as for metal models.
Normal spray primer will work ok.

2 part Epoxy gel may be a better bet than superglue for larger pieces. GM speaks sense.

He does, those horns don't penetrate his skull very far. And he knows his blues.

If you want to decrease it, you'll need really, really concentrated bleach! A week-long soak should do it.....

I think these new clever resins are a step backwards. Who didn't love the old Ainsty stall that smelled of urine?

Having literally just stepped away from a Ferret and a Landy Mk II for my Waudesians, kindly posted by Paul the other day, I highly recommend quick set 2 part epoxy. I've never found any kind of superglue product to work well with resin. It's just too brittle and/or porus.

What brand of epoxy if I may ask? And in the syringe?
