A thread for exchanging shiny news.

I'll start by passing on a snippet from Peter at Spencer Smith.

He intends to start a range of 42mm ACW figures, 'more detailed than the Shiny Toy Soldiers'.

Already available are some Magna Carts figures.......rather more collectors figures I think.

I like the very undetailed SS ACW in 20mm.

Don't forget the upcomming June weekend for a big shinny game in Driffield. I've been expanding army blue forces over the Easter weekend.

I'd be there in a flash if it weren't for already having had me wings severely clipped.......chopped off in fact.

What's SS ACW 20mm?

20mm is wonderful. I wish I'd invested in 20mm rather than these 28mm brutes.
1) Spencer Smith don't do 20mm
2) Fair point
3) FTFU

Are we talking about the Jacklex 20mm ACW range.

I have been tempted by this range a number of times. They have a classic look.

I now feel both justified and ancient.
Mu Mu land is a province of Kumbayah which is a stronghold of the Liberation Front.

I rather think Whiskey is referring to the "30" mm Spencer Smith ACW figures, part of the output from the original range, as used by Sir Donald Featherstone.

In PNG mu mu is the equivalent of a Hungi. You burn down an enormous fire in a pit overnight, chuck some big rocks in at breakfast. Then wrap food in banana leaves an put it on top of the rocks, with more rocks on top, and cover it all with earth. Go and do a day's exploration and when you come back the food is delicious.
