To flip the confession booth topic on its head. What were your moments of glory? Best achievements? Most proud of armies?

I haven't many but..

* Facilitating the creation of Kumbahyah (not all my idea but I think I lit the flame with Tim H in 54mm before it downscaled and upsized into a while 28mm game with an ongoing campaign)
* Every big game myself and Tim H have done, Little Wars style in particular before it was fashionable
* Winning Best Demo game at Battlegroup North with a simple toy soldier game that was lapped up and loved by many young kids on a visit including a whole scout group.
* My 28mm WWII armies. Really the only stuff I have enough of to put a game on if someone came round.

Ohh more than I thought!

*My 15mm Alan (Steppe Nomad, Horsey type) Army for DBM that never lost a game. Crowning glory was a doubles game where one command swept majestically behind a strangely static Hun Army resulting in them being engulfed front and rear and destroyed one turn later.

*The same Cavalry Regt 'The Huntsmen' on successive days at Ayton pancaking General E. Pickled and Capturing Duke Zigor.

*In the same vein as Tim above my creation of the Kingdom of Iffi, complete with culture, language and Pandamen!

*Producing a workable set of Rules for the Colonial C19th Ayton

*Finally, Ayton again, this time my Mongol Army at Garys Lion Rampant weekend winning more 'Honour' points than any other army. Crushing their enemies, Seeing them driven before them, and hearing the lamentation of their women!

1, joining this bunch of strange people. Most of my best game experiences have been in LAW games.
2, actually organising an Ayton campaign without it going totally tits up
3, having some success with my cavalry at Purps' Grantham game!

You should put them on a Kankanban (Like a Kanban but more dancing).

I like it. The evil antithesis of all Kanbans. Nothing adds up or makes sense. Projects are competed before you’ve even thought of them. It operates in different dimensions of time and space. This sounds like a GoFundme/Crowdfunding/Kickstarter initiative.

Some success?! You destroyed an entire wing!

Achievements...
Well, I play games semi regularly with an award winning wargamer 🤔
And often beat him with a lot of sixes.

More seriously, I guess just playing with you lot has been great.
That’s enough emotion out of me and you’re only getting that because I’ve had quite a few IPAs tonight.

I 5hink it’s hard to be pleased with figures you paint yourself. Things I was happy with, I often look at them a few years later and think they are awful. Had that today actually whilst measuring out a game me and goat are having and when I put the first Hussar unit I ever did on the table, I was quite cross with them. Absolute dogs wank. I can see how I’ve developed though.
