A good point, well made.

However, during the meanwhilst I'll put you down for two brigades of four foot battalions, one brigade of three horse regiments/large squadrons and a couple of field guns. You, and you alone, can have some Red Indians if, and only if, you find yourself opposed to Simon in a scenario.
If he's got a shortfall, he can just photoshop them in.

Well, bear in mind that the Bank Holiday this year is the following Friday, rather than the Monday week, so not a problem for those of us who are retired and have people carriers we can curl up in......

Put me down for 2 infantry brigades, 1 horse brigade and a few guns. The exact composition may vary depending on my painting time to DIY time ratio in the new year.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

You can spend the week on the back seat of a car if you like, I'll stay in the hotel.

The army list for the mighty forces of Royal Troopton has been completed - subject to god's approval of course.

OK chaps, the run in to Ayton 2020 is officially 'go'.

If you haven't done so, can I now have your draft orbats please. Let me know if you're playing but not bringing troops because I'll need to put that into the mix.

I'll sort out the rules asap and post something about how they work and the 'optional' rules we'll be using.

Shall I just go ahead and buy a copy of ‘Skank and Piles’ then?

Entirely up to you, Jezza, but there's absolutely no need. I'll prepare an abridged version and QRS well in advance of the game.

Yeah, they can be buggers if there's any copper wire around.
