Would Chosen Men work in 15mm?

Probably closer to 18mm these days. Unit sizes are pretty small, 5 to 20 figures. I don't want to end up with a ton of 28mm and I want to keep costs down. Would individually mounted AB's work?

I don't see why not. Most rules are scale neutral & the ground scale to figure scale ratio is likely to be closer.

A guy in the US called Mark Luther regularly plays Sharp Practice 2 using 15mm AWI, different rules but similar unit sizes. See for yourself if you think they work:-

There are other games on his flickr website.

Thanks for that, looks like it could be done. I do feel that the M3 Grant in the first album was a bit anachronistic.

I think I had a chat with EB about individually mounted 15/18mm for Pirate games and with W2D for Sci Fi. So I'd say go for it, save some money and space and be a winner all around!
(I'd also looked at playing DR in 15mm as I have a soft spot for the Copplestone 15mm Barbarica range but haven't taken the plunge!)

Which reminds me, I need to chat with Paul and Dave about basing 15mm SciFi figures. I'm tempted to go for individual basing..........

I'll be doing the DR 15mm Dark Ages/Barbarica thing at some point next year if things go to plan...
You?

Weren't the figures for the old "Traveller" RPG game done in 15mm?

Yes. Still available from RAFM too. They still stand up nicely against modern offerings. I'll dig some pix up when I have time.

Single basing is easy enough - I use washers of differing sizes, 3/8", 1/4" or 5/8" depending upon pose. Larger ones for MGs etc.
