....a 15mm Confederate army.

For all I know, the little bastards have established a functioning slavocracy under the bed.

What have you alzheimered recently?

….everything...just...everything....it does have the benefit of feeling like a new purchase when you find them five years down the line though.

I have a 15mm Confederate Army.
I think.
Or did I sell it last year?
If I didn’t sell it, where is it, I don’t recall seeing the box in the move.
But I wouldn’t have sold it by itself and I’ve still got the Union opposition.
I think.

I have been looking on and off for the unmade 20mm Empires at War Essling Granary I’ve got somewhere else for the last six months or so

Don't, I found 3 preppep Tomb King chariots and crews, so I painted them and remembering I had more somewhere.

So I now have another 12 chariots to paint.....

Finding things is not always good.

I possess two Tamiya 1/35 Valentine kits. I proudly bought one & took it home to add to the stash only to find one sitting on top of the pile already. I had & have absolutely no recollection of having bought the first one.

My cheque book. Just ordered some stuff from a manufacturer who shuns modern payment methods and asked if I could pay by cheque. Well I found my fountain pen easily enough but hadn't seen my cheque book for years. Took 30 minutes of going through archive boxes to find the bloody thng. But now that I have, I'm damn proud of myself and intend to use it as much as possible in future. I know it costs my bank extra time and money to process cheques and that makes me happy.

Well done, Wingco. I still use - and ask for - cheques and will only use PayPal to buy things, never to sell. I'm not entirely sure why, but I don't trust them with my money. Only other peoples'......

I recently found some casualty/shock markers that I thought I had accidentally thrown away about a year ago; then, on the Warfare weekend, lost two of the four sets of Chain of Command acrylic markers I'd had made by Warbases - oddly enough, around the same time, I discovered that my CoC and SP2 rule books both seem to have wandered off.

The "hide it hobbit" giveth and the "hide it hobbit" taketh away.......

More than once I have bought a new book and gone home all exited only to find the first copy of it sitting on my bookshelves. Not as bad as Peeler who has got three copies of Don Featherstone's Complete Wargaming sitting on his book shelf. As for putting figures etc down in a "safe place", and then completely forgetting where that is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,all the bloody time.

and don't forget Peeler's habit of buying figures at Bring and Buy stalls that he sold on the same stall the previous year
