Getting settled

About 5 months ago, we moved from our rural "airplane hanger' of a house (3 acres) to our dimunitive inner city place (400 sq metres). This necessitated some adjustment......I lost my bespoke wargames' room for instance.
However, plans are starting to be realised. The capacious garage has become my wargames' room & is in the process of getting shelving to store 'the collection'.
Additionally, I have a 'Library' to keep books, do some painting etc
And finally, a shed for terrain building etc;
All these building projects should be complete by Hogmannay.
Happy days.

Having done the same (although not quite 3 acres
) I sympathise. Looks like good progress though and you even got the car in as well!

That's looks very well organised. We're contemplating moving next year but if we don't I may have to give up my attic space to my daughter... and move into the box room... That will necessitate a hobby downsizing of epic proportions....

Looking at moving next year, but frightened by the rents in Edinburgh!

Nice looking shed and very tidy hobby room, but the overcoat with wheels would have
to park outside
you could fit a wargame table in the space it takes up.

Sugo. Once a year, the mother-in-law, wife, daughter (if she's home from London), various female sisters-in-law, nieces etc get together & do this weird Italian ritual & make "spaghetti sauce" (sugo....which may be dialect or maybe Italian) for the coming year. It'll end up in the new cupboards in the laundry when they're finished (giving me space for a New Period???).
And *nobody* touches the 86. When a game is in the offing, it's parked outside, under a carport.

Cool. The Italians have a wonderful attitude towards food. Top people.
