Wargames Foundry

Anybody ordered from them lately? I placed an order two weeks ago for some Celtic chariots to match the ones I bought off Paul at Ayton last year, as well as some pirates for this years Ayton Lace Hulk game.

My order has not shipped, nor have they answered the 5 query emails I’ve sent them, nor are they answering their landline.

I’m starting to get a little irritated.

I'd suggest invading, sacking some fortifications, ravishing their women and stealing some cattle.

Again? That’s getting a little tedious

Your order has probably been held up because of Foundrys show commitments for February, Vappa and two on mainland Europe. They are also notoriously bad for communications so it wouldn't surprise me if the figures arrive before the email replies.

I sent an order in a last week and was just starting to get twitchy but decided to leave it till after Monday's post. They have always been a bit slower than most suppliers but are probably undermanned to cope with that level of show commitments.

They're all chained in Purps dungeon mass producing Hussars. That last price rise tipped him over the edge.

I think it’s the opposite. Since he stopped buying 18th century figures from them, they’ve gone into liquidation

My mail orders usually arrive within 3 working days. I'd guess the three shows this month have stretched them somewhat. There is one person in the shop, who also packs the blisters I believe,
and one in the mail order side and one casting, plus the Ansells.

I’m now sitting at two weeks with no correspondence from them.

I don’t mind if they’re busy and if my orders take a while. I do mind when they ignore repeated requests as to what’s happening with my order. Lack of communication is just shit business practice.
