Re: Ayton 2 (The Shiny One)

I was under the impression the GM, the Count and W2D had done something shiny with the imagi-nations 19th century types, that would be nice.

Ayton 2 (The Shiny One)

So the hall is booked. Now what about the games. I propose a large 42mm Shiny game on the Sunday, rules will be AGW, and we should have troops a plenty by then. As for Saturday, EB and I want to put on a classic ACW game, with some nice shiny looking 28-30mm Rebs and Yankees on a classically simple ...

Re: Tiny Wargames

I supported this company this year, partly because I know the guy is a veteran and this company has been his answer to his PTSD, and because I was very impressed with Gary's battle mat from them. I wanted the battle mat before Christmas as it was a present for my grand son. It did finally arrive, an...

Re: This week I cannot find....

More than once I have bought a new book and gone home all exited only to find the first copy of it sitting on my bookshelves. Not as bad as Peeler who has got three copies of Don Featherstone's Complete Wargaming sitting on his book shelf. As for putting figures etc down in a "safe place", and then ...

Can Peeler confirm that our weekend doesn't clash with the harvest festival? In most places it's just a matter of collecting tins of fruit for the elderly but in those parts they like to make an offering to the old gods.
We're ok on that score Buff, Peeler is one of the old gods.
