It looks good, but fully painted 18mm 3D figures would look better :D I understand the desire to be able to play games immediately without the drag of having to paint armies but it comes at an aesthetic cost. It is, however, much better than buying armies and leaving them unpainted in their boxes/b...

You can't beat a wash of brown over an initial white undercoat. The beauty of it being that you can vary the darkness of it according to the colour pallette you intend to use.
