Red Helmet action!

Question: red stars on Soviet steel helmets in WWII... how common was this practice?
And did it denote particular arms or units?

Cheers gents!

Re: (WANTED) 28mm WW2 German gun crews

The only metal ones I know sold separately are Crusader's 3-man ATG team - less than ideal for heavy stuff.
Lots of 3DP stuff on easy, but all seem to come as a set with the gun. I'm sure an email to the vendor would secure crew without.

Re: Spencer Smith ACW

Why, yes.
Yes, I did note your faint, grudging praise among the churlish and unnecessary airing of your preferences.

As to 'why I bothered' etc...

If you need it spelling out, then the answer is "to illustrate precisely how cunty you were being".

Hope that helps.

What he said.
Crimean war in 28mm holds zero appeal to me, but I don't feel the need to go on your gallery thread and say so.

I was talking Henry Hoover...I wouldn't be so rude about Mr Battlegames!
I got it... I was 'trusting the audience' to follow the cognitive thread from Henry Hoover to Henry Hyde.

Thats very funny.

Quite brave, mind, for a guy who likes so many elderly musicians...
