Finished this 2nd battalion of the 23rd Prussian infantry using Spencer Smith figures, I finished the 1st battalion last year.
Also completed a grenadier battalion, so 84 odd figures for the regiment. Got some work on the commanding officer still.
All three battalions together, makes a nice 84 man regiment.

More loveliness! I can't possibly hope to catch up.

Lovely stuff, Willz, one of my favourite uniform-flag combinations and the only regiment to be given quasi-guard status (hence the all-white flags) as a reward for battlefield performance.
I still have to blood the battalion I did, so I'll be sure to leave them plenty of space for their first game rout.

If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Never knew that! Every day a school day on here - and not just due to Peeler nicking everyone's lunch money.

Cheers for all your kind comments and support, and thanks for the info on the flags.
