I've had several games of Lion Rampant & I am a fan.
However, I acquired a copy of the 'Baron's War' rules & after reading them, was quite impressed.
Still skirmish but certainly a greater degree of complexity.
Any opinions out there?

I endorse these rules.
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

Yup, I like them a lot. More complex than LR but that comes with a whole extra potential for subtlety and tactics.
They are also great for people who like army building because of the huge amount of variations possible with troop types and special rules.
I got in the first two Kickstarters but didn't bother with the Outremer one as I figured I had enough.
I haven't played that many games, and most of those solo, but have tried to convince Count Bel. to get an army together and have a bash.
(Actually it would be perfect for a Northern LAW meeting )
