I don't think you can avoid VAT when picking up at a UK show or getting sent to a UK address?

If you can then i'm asking my American friends to buy stuff that I can pick up

I can name several places who used to charge me VAT when shipping to SA.

Tomorrow, a friend will be collecting for me from Salute some 1/300 aircraft (Heroics & Ros), some game mat literature from two producers (Deep Cut and Geek Villain), and some dice, dice frames and flight stand pegs (Pendraken- thanks to Leon for persevering with what must be a small order by his standards!).

OK, thank you - I'll keep an eye out for that! (The H&R aircraft are WW2 - I got two packs of PSC BoB aircraft a couple of years back and not a single effin' Me109!)

I got the PSC BoB pack some time ago as well. A very unusual mix.

I've just taken advantage of the Warlord Games 50% discount on selected sprues. The wonderful WL chaps are selling me thirty figure 18thC (WSS) battalions for a little over a tenner each. Huzzah!

There be Zulu sprues included in the sale, if anyone is interested.
