Any of you read these books?

I've got one, incredible detail about what are generally little known campaigns. Maps are crap though if I remember correctly.

Maps I can live with. The 5 for £50 look good, but they are reprints of an Edwardian writer, so worth checking with others.

I might just indulge, although they currently have a lot of books very cheap, so it might get expensive fast!

I had the full set at one point - from memory they seemed well written and authoritative. Worth getting I would say, especially given the general lack of anything in English on these campaigns (always preferred them to mainstream Napoleonics, but at the time, nobody made figures etc for that era).

Does it go into the detail of how revolutionary armies actually fought?
