I bought 4 litres of resin to do some 3d printing. The yodel guy rang the door bell, and by the time my partner got to the door, he refused to hand it over, as he had started to fill in the 'non-delivery' form. After her jaw dropped, and an argument, She released the hounds, so he ran away, and I'm still waiting for a schedule of when they will actually deliver.

Not buying, but I sold some bits recently, and whilst searching through my stash of lead, I found all sorts, including those dismounted NapFrench Cuirassiers that keep turning up.

FranzNap are the king of 20mm Napoleonic miniatures. Their sculpts are both incredibly beautiful & detailed & amazingly strong - horse legs don't snap, muskets bend. I was given 2 named French generals a while back & they're awesome.

My recent Napoleonic dreaming says an army of 400-500 French FranzNap figures would be great!

However, I'd have to sell my house.

As a 'retirement project' I think a single battalion would be a nice & affordable addition.

Oh come on Donald. Infantry are 1.33 euro a figure. Not cheap, but not outrageous.

Anyway, my recent purchase was a battalion (24 figs) of 28mm WAS Garde Francaise from Flags of War at Targe in Kirriemuir on Saturday. Paid for by flogging off a bunch of 1/72 WW2 & Cold War kits at knock down prices.

You're not bloody exaggerating, mate! Those are beautiful. I'd never heard of them before (or I've forgotten if I had), but I'd never have forgotten those figures.

Treat yourself, Donald- get two battalions, mate.

If only they did mid-C18.....
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Mibbe, but it isnae 1975. Fit like is yir Eureka then? Their 20mm works out to €1.11 for a 20mm fig.

Postage and customs might well cost an arm and a leg though. If it's any consolation, 28mm here are now anything from around €2.30 to €4 or more per figure.
