Getting Your Nobori Out In Public

Post by RMD »

My good mate Gareth has a quite incredible 6mm Samurai collection and I finally managed to have a game with him last night. Battle report to follow, but here are a couple of photos. His armies are incredible, but I think the scenery is even more spectacular. I particularly like the peasants working in the paddy-fields, hanging the washing out and playing 'Go' under the shade of a beautifully-modelled Japanese pine:

Brilliant. I've always fancied having a go at Samurai but...well life's too short :(

I imagine having a go at some Samurai would indeed make your life very, very short!

I did think of countering with "Getting Your Knobkerry Out In Public" for a Zulu War theme, but didn't want to upset Valleyboy this close to Xmas!

You're assuming two things:
Firstly that I want to take on a Samurai in combat and;
Secondly that if I did I wouldn't be doing it using a Barrett M82.

Very impressive, Mark. Even more so is photographic proof that you still have some money which hasn't been spent on figures!
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
