I think I used Vallejo Japanese Uniform on mine. Have a look in the Burma 44 posts on my blog, it might say what I used. I can't recall myself. I collected them mainly because Matt sculpted them for Warlord.

I got that paint, too, but was then told it's far too "yellow" (rather ironic, given the subject matter) and I needed something browny-green. Or greeny-brown. Or both.....

Not my best work, but it may serve. The putees are Foundry Drab I'm pretty sure; trousers are Drab mid highlighted Vallejo Japanese Uniform; shirt and field cap are Vallejo Japanese Uniform highlighted Foundry Boneyard light. These were painted a while ago and my memory is not what it was...

It's all very splendid, David.

Looking at the Japanese chap, is that ordinary static grass? It looks spot on.

I don't know why, but I have tried a range of Warlord metal heads on that bloody Jap medic and NONE of them will stay on!!!

My recipe is a blob of UHU Power with a drop of cheap superglue added, sets almost immediately like concrete!
