Can we start new projects even if we're not going to Ayton this year?
If so, I'm thinking.....
- Early WW2 WaT (French - best tanks in 1940)
- Early WW2 CoC (BEF)
- Peninsula Brunswick/KGL force
- 100 Days' Brunswick force
- 1809 Bavarians v Austrians

TFL had a cracking guide to Operation Compass which I bought way back in 2010. Needless to say I've lost the PDF but it was a good read.goat major wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:31 pm Yep I’m leaning towards Operation Compass Brit’s and Italians

Battlegroup (PSC company) are releasing their OC expansion. Heard lots of good things about these rules, but never played them

Ooooh. 11th Hussars initially had RR armoured cars in the desert........hmmmmmm.
But curses......the GHQ version has a close top turret.

“He’s not well, don’t let him get excited...”
(five minutes later)
“Where is he? You were supposed to be keeping an eye on him!”
“Nah, it’s fine look, he’s over there....”
“Where?”
“You see that field with the miniature tank bombing around it?”
“Yeah....”
“He’s driving the tank.”
“WTF?”
“Its got a seat in it. He’s basically having a sit down.”

I am not answering this on the grounds that I will incriminate myself
I shall wait until after Partizan
I already have 4 x 32 Russian Napoleonic infantry battalions left to complete in 28mm with a large Perry order for cavalry on the way let alone the stalled SYW project with at lest a dozen infantry battalions and 6 cavalry regiment to finish let alone the 15mm Prussian cavalry I bought without even thinking about Italian wars and WW1 in Palestine lot that have been waiting at lest 4 years
Why therefore is my mind occupied by 15mm WW2 Russians, more 15mm Gauls along with the prospect of LOA in 28 and Indian Mutiny from Empress then?

I have 15mm forces for both that I'm selling (plus the Operation Compass pdf) - just sayingPaul wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:44 pmTFL had a cracking guide to Operation Compass which I bought way back in 2010. I'm starting my new (financial) year resolution now that Salute is out of the way. Which is, each month I go to one project and try and get as much finished as possible that will allow me to play a game at the end of the month. But as to which project I'll do each month will be determined entirely on whim on the first day of that month. So I cater for whimsy and planning in one hit.
Or I'll look at the project and flog it - see 15mm Operation Compass above, go on, go on, you know you want to
I get lockdown, but I get up again.
