Some new Spencer Smiths

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

Still WIP.
Bought these off fleabay last week, metal Spencer Smith they were very nicely painted all I had to do was paint the coat a linen colour,
paint the white crossbelts and a bit of flesh. Redone the gold a couple of hours work.
The flags come with the unit Austrian in origin? but what shall I name any ideas a Tiberian regiment?

Bases done, just about finished them. Also have just purchased another 144 unpainted metal.
Not too bad but these figures look better with blue or red uniforms, the colour stands out better.
The colours struggle to stand out with white.

Hungarian flags, German uniforms? Regiment Graf Drăculea von Siebenbürgen, aka Vlad's Own, perhaps? I agree with Peeler- the white with blue looks good.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Regimental nickname, "The Impalas" (see what I did there?).

Another vote for the white/blue combo.
