Airfix 1/76 Guards Colour Party

Post by Essex Boy »

I never owned a box of these chaps in my yoof and thought I'd missed the boat. Then, a few months ago I spotted in the Airfix catalogue that the set was to be re-released this Summer. Huzzah!

Hannants have just taken my money for a box (or three) in advance of the June issue date. I expect to be a very happy bunny next month.

I've always thought, and see no reasons to change my mind, that bands simply make the place look untidy.

I remember having the Guards and their band back in the day.
Never could get them to stand in straight lines due to my parents never allowing me to have a really sharp knife to cut them cleanly from the sprues. I wonder why.
