Spanish Marine Artillery using Spencer Smith's

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

Finished these figures last night ,Spanish Marine Artillery using Spencer Smith's metal and plastic figures swapping head, adding
a sword and belt.
Cannons bought off fleabay (Front Rank I think/ ), ships cannons from Cornwall models.

Some nice conversions and painting Willz. I particularly like the white moustaches (as I possess one of those myself ☺).

Cheers neil, think I will make and paint some more.
However today I dug out some of my 20mm medieval figures to paint, having bought a box of
Airfix Sheriff of nottingham medieval figures from fleabay for a tenner. Only to find that
I had 2 boxes in my garage stash :) .

A common problem for most of us Willz.
Either that or you KNOW you have something but cannot find it; only for it to turn up the minute you buy a replacement....

A lot to like. I'll comment on the bases of the field artillery - excellent.

That unit's a new one to me, Willz. Nice work, mate.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Excellent artillery, Willz - and now you have THREE boxes and Sheriff of Nottingham figures. Result!

My favourite figure was the chappie in full armour, with pointy-nosed bascinet, charging with spear.
