Good work, Tim. The scale armour came up nicely- it always looks like a dog's (tin) breakfast when I paint scale.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Thanks, I didnt do anything different to how I paint mail. Although I did just buy some new warpainter metalics and they are brilliant. I think they have the metal medium ready muxed in from how the finished look is turning out?

Love the Early Medieval stuff and those Numidians are very good too and so versatile for the period.
