The Domestic Fuhrer has imposed a moratorium on hobby spending this month, but next month I'm planning to get a third bastion and a few sections of curtain wall, including one with a breach.

I think I'm also going to have to have a serious go at scratch-building baseboards for the fortress, so if can actually have ditches, a covered way, glacis, etc. I'll also need to scratch-build a gateway ravelin and bridge.
Still table-edge? I guess you really have to as the entire circuit is realistically too big.
How big is a naval gun? Newline do a 20mm one that is, IMO, a little small for the scale.

Yeah, it'll always be just a backdrop on the table-edge/corner, sadly. I do have a partly-made smaller fortress by TBM. that's only 2 feet or so in diameter, so that'll be more useful for those battles where there's a walled town in the middle of the battlefield, such as Langensalza or Freiberg.

Thanks for the tip re Newline. It doesn't really matter what size they are, as long as they're on garrison/naval carriages and fit reasonably well with 15mm figures.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a supplier of 15mm naval/fortress cannon?
