Well done. I put a week aside to build the Venice project......I managed to assemble all of the bases and bridges, a few ruins and three buildings. I've still got a huge pile of untouched building. There's more here than I could ever use in a game, and that 70cm tower is a bit pointless I think.

Having seen Jamie's stuff covered in textured wallpaper, I spent an afternoon trawling through Southend DIY shops looking for something similar....complete waste of time.

The guys at TT Combat told me that it was impossible to make the 70cm tower fully playable internally.....so i've put aside a week for building it and making it fully playable internally :D

I have only used the textured wallpaper for the base tiles this is the one you want:

I'm sure it can be got cheaper...I paid £20 for mine. Alternatively wait until we've all finished and see if there's any leftovers you can make use of!

Thanks, EB, but there's a few things that need fixing- like the missing spark plug lead. Why can't I spot the mistakes before I take the bloody photos? Mixing some fine grit into the rust paint- like we do to add texture to bases- worked better than I hoped.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

It's San Geremia Tower from TT Combat...I will post photos when it's built.

Some 10mm buildings, half timbered, wattle and daub types. 3D casts off ebay.

To finish before I get a new hip on 9 April.
