As it was a four or five "sheet" building it is possible that the issue was with one or two sheets being cut without calibration.
I haven't had the same issue with their older style buildings (the ones with the greyboard stonework) so my suspicion is that the new stuff doesn't have the tolerances built in to allow for minor cutting issues or changes in the MDF.
I actually used the Sarissa ones to prove to myself that the issue wasn't me :D :D
The old conundrum: "is the fault the equipment or is it my fingers?". Been there, done that.

Back on topic. On the workbench- not much. I did up a few more ACW fence pieces because they were there and were the last four, have some Perry billmen still awaiting my attention and removed a biggish huntsman, who was taking up too much space on the table. The huntsman was not happy about being moved, but more happy than Herself was when she saw what was on the end of the duster. It's not like a bloody huntsman is deadly, or even dangerous. :x

I used to like having Huntsmen around, they would eat all the Redbacks, Funnelwebs, White-Tails etc

I agree, Doug, they make a good house spider. But She Is Obeyed is not a fan of any living thing with more than four legs, especially those with 8 legs. Moving her (the spider) outside saved her and my desk, the figures, paints box and brushes from being drowned in 3 cans of fly-spray.

Does (Australian) fly-spray work on spiders? Or did you mean "drowned" literally.....?

It doesn't really work on them unless you manage to pretty much drown them. And just a footnote that drowning doesn't work too well. Some species weave themselves little air bubbles and quite happily live in the pool.

Thanks - it was a serious question as I've often wondered why it was specifically fly/bug spray and not "for wiping out annoying (and potentially lethal) multi-legged arthropods".

The thong is the deadly enemy of the spider. Fly spray is pretty ineffective.

As Doug said, fly-spray doesn't work too well. But as it's the only insecticide in the house, Herself would keep applying it until the offending arachnid- and everything else on my desk- was no longer visible. The spray would do more damage to my brushes than the spider, probably. :(

There's only a couple of potentially lethal arachnid families here (anaphylaxis isn't the spider's fault), despite mythology about our deadly fauna. The hunstmen are useful in preying on them, mozzies and other unwanted squatters. But they're fairly big, a little hairy and can move quickly- therefore they hit all her arachnophobia "ON" buttons.
