That was my initial reaction. It's called a generational suntan.

Right, minor disaster. My work PC won't recognise the word doc for the rules as we're still on Windows 95 in Local Government.
I'll email them anyway, see if you can open them. The problem is I now won't be able to print any copies I wouldn't think.
I'll keep trying.

My PC keeps trying to open them as Acrobat files & failing.
I wish it was still 95, I'd still be in the RAF, aged 41 and earning much more than I do now.

I've got an idea for saving money at your workplace Tim. When they have meetings the person taking notes shouldn't use a pad of paper. If they had a wooden board covered in wax they could scratch the notes into the wax. When it is finished with just add bit more wax and pop it in a warm oven. Hey presto , it's as good as new. They really should take a look at this because no one who is still making people use Windows 95 is in any position to take the piss out of Roman technology.

Oh It's not just me being a Luddite then. I have e mailed you Tim re this problem. I think it will work if you save the docs in an ODF format, I hope.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: Ayton 2018 Modernesque Skirmish
I've emailed people a modern word conversion of the file. You need to have an up to date WPS converter on your MS Word program.
there are a few issues with the conversion but mostly seems ok.
I can Email it to people in earlier word versions if needed.
I've noted how bloody it's going to get, no cover saves or similar....ouch!
The only other query is shouldn't SMGs be able to hit three targets at close range if carbines can hit two?
Just suggestions, happy to go with any rules to be honest

I've got an old typewriter you could use, if that helps. And one of those pre-photocopyier copying machines that smelt strongly and all the writing was purple.

Are you running the British Museum annex?
