Missing in Action.
Ayton Stalwarts and gentlemen, it is with great regret that I have to inform you that I shall have to drop out of this year's Ayton event. It's a combination of circumstances, including a broken vehicle which needs to be sorted out and personal illness, nothing serious but quite debilitating, that have led to this decision on my part. Trust me, it was not taken lightly, but the omens were not good, and I have learnt over the years to heed them. So I wish you well and hope you have a cracking weekend, as I know you will, and I shall hope to see you all soon.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

That’s terrible Tim! You will be missed. Good luck with everything that’s going on

What a blow, perfectly understand Tim. Take very good care of yourself.

That's really sad news Tim, you'll be greatly missed.
Getting better is always the priority so take it easy.

Re: Missing in Action.
This is indeed a tragedy but you must look after yourself Tim!
Gents, I have two options for Sunday.
A. I can put on a half decent Bolt Action game . Havent played in a while so will require some patience re the rules.
B. We perservere with the Saturday game and play through other scenarios.
We may now need to sort out cloths for the table. Does anyone have anything we can use or do I need to go shopping?

Tim H - this is terrible news. You are the voice of reason, a steadying hand, but above all, you're the only one who ever agrees with me. I'm going to really miss you.
A wise move I'm sure. I wish you a full recovery in double quick time.
Iain
Tim W - I have two very dark green blankets......the same as you and Tim H have been using for your games. Do you want them?

Let's extend the saga. I've got a green cloth about 4'6" x 8'. It won't match anyone else's though. If we're desperate for something bigger, very green & baize like I could probably borrow one from the club tonight.
