One discovery during the game was that it is physically impossible to move a helicopter with doing the sound effects, even if just under your breath!

It looked like a brilliantly organised game.

And visually a real feast.

Many hands make light work! Rules took an hour on my work PC. Event cards took about 20 minutes. I'm amazed how a game with so much potential can develop so quickly with 5 gamers all on the same page in terms of what we want out of it.

I intend to develop the game cards (with more quality artwork) add in the armour and helicopter rules and that should be the thing as complete as it needs to be with random acts being diced for as and when.

I'd get hold of a GW sactter dice and use that for HE shells (No 'to hit' roll as such and scatter being D6 at close range and 2D6 at long). That would reduce the effect of vehicles on infantry a bit.

Yep yep, that would work.

Also, check out "Green Leader Rhodesian Air Force" on youtube! Best ever pilot to tower conversation between the "Rhodesian" (read South African) Canberra leader to the airport tower in Zambia.

One of the classiest threats in history. The Zambians had Mig 21s and the Rhodies had Hunters. John Edmond wrote a song about it.

Sadly Paul we would have had those, and the auto fire dice as well as blast templates if I had not selfishly failed to attend. So those will be deployed in future games.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
