Social media
Social media
So I’ve been on FB for 4 or 5 years, mainly to stay in touch with close friends and family around the world. I’ve had a observer/non existent presence on Twitter for same period. My virgin Ayton was definitely the swing point for me, I found many loose asses on Twitter, many posting way more than the forum (which is not a bad thing). As a Loose Ass boweI loosening thought I thought I would bring this to the attention of my fellow Loose Assea

Re: Social media
Twitter has lots of wargamers on now - many more than there were 3 or 4 years ago. It’s a good place to share work on progress pics because it’s so easy. Facebook I like less.

Re: Social media
I don't use Twatter, or Instagram as I don't have a mobile/i pad/smart phone or any of that malarkey. But I do like Facebook, and I like the ease of posting pictures there and it's immediacy a lot. Because of all the photobucket nonsense I no longer bother with image hosting services, so fb scores for me in that respect. It does mean I post on this forum a lot less these days. I would advocate a LAW fb page, but I know some are opposed to fb.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Well done Ronan. In truth I am so un tech savvy, but I'd rather be painting and playing with toy soldiers, I generally look at fb when I am waiting for paint to dry on a figure. And I had to kick a very unhealthy online gaming addiction. And I am a grumpy ole git too!!

Yeah, but we love you anyway.
Re: Social media
there's a grumpy old wargamers group on FB, with some familiar names there. You'd fit right in Tim.Tim Hall wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 12:07 pm .....

Re: Social media
Of course, I have only ever logged on to FB and tweeter once each to set up the account, couldn't work out what they were for.
