Finding his basing techniques was the final spark that got me into this mess (I have maybe 40 bases like these prepared for grassing) So guess you could pass on my thanks (I think) :o

That's a helpful heads up, thank you. I had the little beasties on the worktop this morning. I'm playing with various basing options but I'm looking forward to having a dabble. Also, I haven't decided on whether to go historical or generic ImagiNations. I got much better results with hand brushed priming with unthinned acrylics than spray priming which frankly was a disaster.
That's what so great about the interweb and blogland in particular, inspiration is everywhere. made a huge difference to my modelling techniques especially scenary.
