Ayton 2019 VBCW topic

Post by Buff Orpington »

Just in case anyone forgot what we are doing.
My Vickers MkVI tanks arrived today so that's Paul & I sorted for armour. They should be OK in the game, not too gunned up or armoured. It does remove the temptation to go for a BA6 which would have been both.

Isn't "tank" pushing it a bit? Armoured pram might be more appropriate.

Well, it's a pram - someone has to do a bit of pushing otherwise it won't move.

Let's settle for "sturdy pram".
It may be that there is some significance in the fact that I can't find any record of the Germans using any that the BEF left behind.

Is it too late to tell Buff, that over several beers in Diss, we decided Ayton ‘18 is Victorian Darkest Africa with full on occult activities thrown in?

They converted 34 to SPGs and Ammo carriers and used 'em on the Eastern Front :)
