Re: Goat Gallery
the figures may be but at Coldstream Bridge there can only be one British Guards regiment. Its all about the narrative!

Re: Goat Gallery
Personally I like the look of the juxtapostion of the shiny Toy Soldiers with more realistic terrain. It's something Whiskey and I went for with the 54mm chaps. The "old school" terrain, whilst attractive, would require quite a commitment in building terms, as well as being limited in it's usefulness. The Old School ethos is satisfied with the look of the troops, and unit sizes and the rules in use. The more realistic terrain creates an attractive contrast and the two styles compliment each other.goat major wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 8:12 am i have thought about that LT. At the moment my 28mm scenery is mostly ok. But model railyway card buildings will probably be put to use for a scenario thats coming up
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

The beauty of using the 42mm chaps is that, although they don't have the Toy Soldier 'purity' of the 54mm ranges, most scenery, including buildings can be re purposed from 28mm.

That's all very grand and magnificent! But You need some lovely green plain boards for them! Do you want six de-towelled boards? They weigh 15 tons but would look great with a Dulux forest green...
You have to go full hog. This is Loose Ass where we take things much to far!

Excellent battle report. A close run thing but Britain prevails... As is right..
The whole 42mm thing has come together wonderfully. Well done.
