I presume they only have chevrons on the right arm (it’s all my Googlefu can turn up)?
I need to finish Seargent Arno de Hatchette for the weekend

Take more than that to render them armless.

Re: French Seargents
French NCO distinctions, the stuff of nightmares, as they are half chevrons for a start and worn near the cuff, always used to confuse them with the service and good conduct full chevrons worn on the upper arm.. One thing I am certain of is that they spelt it "Sergeant" like we do.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: French Seargents

Or simply lights up a Gauloise, shrugs its shoulders, and goes "Pfffff!!!"
