Re: Britcon
I went to Manchester a couple of times. I found it much improved since Mr Brummel declined to go there because he had not signed up for foring service.
Re: Britcon
Last time I was in Manchester I stayed at the YMCA and was on a youth (colts) rugby tour
Had a bit of a problem with a nose bleed all the way back to South Wales on account of having a fight with a prop and a big No 8........................................................
........... both at the same time
Not unexpectedly perhaps , I came off second best

Re: Britcon
I won't be able to make it over but have a great time
Re: Britcon
Back from Britcon. Quite a bit bigger and busier than last year I thought. Some spiffing looking games. Was amazed at the amount of competition SP2 games on the go.
I took advantage of Dave Thomas’ special, 4 boxes of Perry plastics for £60 to snag two boxes of Dragoons, a box of Hussars and some Cuirassiers for my Naps French. I also picked up a box of GB plastic Late Roman Britons to add to what I have already, some metal pikes and a roll up dice tray.
