Anyone played Blood Red Skies?

Post by tim.w »

Core set seems good value?

Much different to Wings of War?

Not personally. But heard good things from a variety of gaming mates

You can download the rules for free from the Warlord website. Looks good but I'm too wrapped up in Test of Honour at the moment.

Ah, now you mention it I remember doing that. I don't think I was all that gripped. Might need to see a game in situ.

It looks interesting and is much cheaper than Wings of Glory!

I've been looking for a decent WW2 fighter game for years. The first game I ever played at a wargames club was WW" aerial using the Newbury rules and many aircraft of the era were still being flown when my father was in the RAF, so I have an emotional pull :)

Bag the Hun is seeing a bit of a resurgence recently and sounds like lot of fun

That welsh girl who flies on a broomstick swears by CY6, but when I asked why wouldn't share her insights with me.

I have that somewhere and forgotten about it!
What aircraft models are best now? I've got a box of old style H&R somewhere plus some excellent models by 'Airpower' which I don't think air available anymore but they're all buried deep in the garage since the move :(

I think the Meeples and Minis guys have been using 1/600 tumbling dice. They did a good review recently - episode 247
